The re-discovery was a serendipitous moment: called to look at some silver, John Rosenberg noticed a deep-blue ground box decorated with trees. “Is that a piece of Moorcroft?” he asked, only to be told “that’s not Moorcroft- that’s one of Mum’s pots – would you like to see the rest?”
It soon became clear that this was a unique discovery. This led to the idea for an exhibition and the publication of a catalogue of the family collection of Clem Ainslie’s works.
The catalogue is a 36-page book, and is available here.
